If there is a strong suspicion that a player has received a concussion, the suspicion should translate into the player being removed from play and should be seen by a doctor. Playing it on the safe side protects the players future capability to play the game and enjoy a healthful life. When in doubt, sit them out.

Program, which offers a program running on the web, for concussion management. Entered information is sent to authorized recipients. The program offers a comprehensive approach for educating, training, return to play (RTP), concussion medical tracking, and concussion notification items. The program is based in a cloud service, with data encrypted. Communications are encrypted, with access controls. The program has a fee associated with it, which is scalable.
Pupilscreen
Smart phone application under development, which tests the eyes of the athlete. This is the result of a current study by the University of Washington. A smart phone is used to take a flash image of the eye, which is processed by an application on the smart phone. The study follows concussion research which focuses on the eyes, for revealing concussion symptoms. The researchers have estimated that the product may be available by 2019.
